Question 1

What is a sigil?

Accepted Answer

A sigil is a symbol built from a written intention. You state what you want in one sentence, the letters of that sentence are reduced to a set of strokes, and those strokes are arranged into a single glyph. The symbol then acts as a compact, unambiguous reminder of the intention.

Question 2

How does MySigil create my sigil?

Accepted Answer

You give your name, birth moment and one intention. Your intention supplies the letterforms; your chart supplies the geometry — element, ruling planet, associated numbers and colour. The result is a single vector glyph you can download, print or set as a wallpaper.

Question 3

Do I need my exact birth time?

Accepted Answer

No. Date of birth is enough for a complete sigil. An exact time adds your rising sign and house placements, which change the angles and make the glyph more specific to you.

Question 4

Is MySigil free?

Accepted Answer

Yes — creating a sigil is free and the file is yours to keep. Membership adds unlimited readings, higher-resolution downloads, the dream journal, oracle sessions and the daily cosmic digest.

Question 5

What do I actually do with the sigil once I have it?

Accepted Answer

Keep it somewhere you pass daily — lock screen, wallet, desk, doorframe — and pair it with one recurring action tied to the intention. The glyph is the reminder; the action is the work.

Question 6

Can I have more than one sigil?

Accepted Answer

Yes, but one intention per sigil. Combining love, money and protection into a single symbol produces something that means nothing precise, and precision is what makes the method useful.

Question 7

Are the readings written by a person or generated?

Accepted Answer

Readings are generated for you at the moment you request them, from your own chart data — nothing is pre-written or recycled between users. They are for reflection and entertainment, not medical, legal or financial advice.

Question 8

Does MySigil cost anything?

Accepted Answer

No. MySigil is completely free — sigils, readings, charts and downloads. There are no memberships or paid plans.

Question 9

Do you keep my birth details?

Accepted Answer

Your details are stored on your account so your sigils and readings stay available to you, and they are never sold. You can request deletion at any time from the contact page.

Question 10

Can I use my sigil commercially — tattoo, print, merchandise?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The sigil generated from your details is yours, including for tattoos, prints and personal merchandise. Reselling the generator itself or bulk-generated glyphs is not permitted.
