Dream Meaning: Water
Updated
Dreams about water are commonly interpreted as emotions; calm water reflects calm feelings, rough water reflects turmoil. Dream symbols are personal — the emotion you felt in the dream matters more than the symbol itself.
Common interpretation
Most dream dictionaries and psychologists who work with dreams read water as emotions; calm water reflects calm feelings, rough water reflects turmoil. Recurring dreams tend to fade once the waking-life issue is addressed.
